Victoria Cendrowski has been teaching many forms of dance, fitness and yoga since 1971. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance from Eastern Michigan University, along with a Teacher’s certification. Victoria earned her Master of Education in Science of Human Movement with an emphasis in Personal Training from Wayne State University. Her professional career includes Dance Program Director, K-12 Physical Education Teacher, Wellness Trainer and producer of her own Yoga Pilates videos. She has been the Fitness Supervisor for Rec&Ed since 1990 and is currently teaching Yoga Pilates and Power Yoga Pilates. |

Chelsea Cendrowski started practicing Yoga in 1995. She was a gymnast for 8 years and has been dancing since 2005. Chelsea started teaching Power Yoga Pilates for Rec&Ed in 2009 and Kid Yoga in 2011. Her goal is to continue doing "Yoga for Life"! Chelsea also started Karma Yoga in 2010 doing monthly fundraisers for various local and global charities. She is currently enrolled in U of M School of Nursing and working as a Nursing Technician at St. Joe's Hospital. |

Dianna Edmonson has been teaching fitness and dance classes since 2002. She is Red Cross CPR & First Aid certified and holds several Dance Instructor certifications. Currently, Dianna is teaching dance and fitness classes for Rec&Ed. She has been teaching Fitness for Rec&Ed since 2011. |

Doris Farrugia has been a group fitness instructor since 1984 and started teaching for Rec&Ed in 2009. She is a certified Turbo Kick and Zumba I, II & GOLD instructor. Instructing Zumba is her first passion! Doris earned her Associate's Degree in Administration Technology from Washtenaw Community College and is working for the Teacher Education Department at Eastern Michigan University. |

Inge Gaiser has worked as a physical therapist since 1978. She started doing Nordic Walking in 2007 and became a certified Nordic Walking instructor in 2009 Inge started teaching for Rec&Ed in 2010 and is currently working as a physical therapist for St Joseph Mercy Hospital. |

Jenine “Chip” Grover earned her undergrad degree in Recreation and Youth Leadership, with an emphasis in therapeutic recreation, from Michigan State University. She began her professional career as a recreational therapist at Chelsea Community Hospital in 1984, when she also began teaching group fitness. Chip earned a teaching certificate and master's degree from Eastern Michigan University, She has been teaching group fitness for Rec&Ed since 1988 and is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise. Chip currently teaches middle school in Chelsea and Cardio Dance & Pilates for Rec&Ed. |

Cheryl Gulbranson has been teaching group fitness since 1980. She is certified as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, Water Aerobics through the Aquatic Exercise Association, Spinning through Mad Dogg Athletics, Power Yoga through YogaFit, and Mat Pilates through PowerHouse Pilates. She has been a section leader in the Clinical Lab at St. Joe’s Hospital since 1972. Cheryl has been teaching for Ann Arbor Rec&Ed since 1988 and is currently teaching Weight Training, Circuit Yoga, Circuit Pilates. |

Mark A. Harris has been teaching fitness classes and personal training since 1999. Mark is a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA, National Strength and Conditioning Association. Mark also presents at seminars and health conventions. He started teaching Personal Training for Rec&Ed in Spring 2008. Mark is currently teaching and training clients in and around the Ann Arbor area. |

Donna Kujat is certified through the American Council on Exercise in kick boxing, water aerobics, group fitness, personal training and is a Red Cross certified lifeguard. Amy Leighton began teaching water aerobics with Ann Arbor Rec & Ed in 1999 after being a participant for many years herself. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. Joe Mason has been teaching group fitness as a second career since 2007, after retiring as an airline captain.
In addition to his MBA, Joe holds several fitness certifications from the American Council on Exercise, World Instructor Training School, National Exercise Trainers Association, Healthways Silver Sneakers and YogaFit. He loves participating in Community Charity 5K runs and is a Biathlete/Triathlete. Joe has been teaching for Ann Arbor Rec&Ed since 2010 and is currently teaching Yoga Kick Fusion.

Amy McCollough has been teaching many forms of water classes since 1971. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ferris State University. Amy is certified through the United States Water Fitness Association and is a Red Cross certified lifeguard and lifeguard instructor. She is currently teaching water classes for Schoolcraft College and Brighton High School, in addition to private lessons and backyard swim programs. Amy has been teaching Water Aerobics for Rec&Ed since 2010.

Madelaine Mitchell-Ward is a Movement Science major in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan, hoping to be a dance specific physical therapist. She enjoys doing Zumba and is a certified Zumba instructor. Madelaine has been a member of Company Dance Traverse in Traverse City, Michigan for seven years, has been dancing for seventeen years, and is now a member of Impact Dance at Michigan. She enjoys teaching and wants to spread the enjoyment of dance and fitness to all ages at all levels of experience. |

Teresa Myers has been teaching NIA since 2007. She is a certified White-Belt Nia Instructor and started teaching for Rec&ED in 2009. Teresa discovered Nia after an exhaustive search for an exercise routine she could do following an extensive surgery to remove cancer that had eaten through muscle in her back and rib cage. She got her life back both physically and emotionally through Nia. Teresa holds a Master’s Degree in Administration from Eastern Michigan University and is currently the Vice President of Lending and Human Resources at MidWest Financial Credit Union. Sandy Pierani has been teaching group fitness since 2000 and started teaching for Rec&Ed in 2007. Sandy earned a Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University in Occupational Therapy (OT) and is currently working as an OT for Supplemental Healthcare and teaching Zumba and Pilates Fusion for Rec & Ed. |

Stephanie Riegle has an MS in exercise science and physiology from Miami University. She began her professional career as an Aquatics Director working at the University of Minnesota and later at the University of Georgia, where she managed the staff and facilities, and taught water aerobics, swimming, lifeguarding, first aid and CPR. Stephanie is a certified Pilates instructor and Red Cross certified lifeguard. She joined the staff at Rec&Ed in 1999 teaching water aerobics, and began teaching Pilates in 2002. She earned her PhD in Higher Education Administration at the University of Michigan and currently works as an administrator at U of M and teaches Pilates Matwork for Rec&Ed. |

Tanya Smith has over 20 years of experience in both classical ballet and contemporary dance, and spent 3 years as Co-Director of an undergaduate dance company while in college. She became a Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor in 2009 after participating in Zumba classes herself. Tanya started teaching Zumba for Rec&Ed in 2009. She also has a Master's Degree in Social Work from University of Michigan and is a Clinical Social Worker for the University of Michigan Health System. |

Jeri Stroupe studied Exercise Science at Miami University of Ohio and continued on to earn her Master of Public Health in 2011. She was a competitive figure skater for 13 years, and was a member of the first U.S. team to earn a silver medal at the Synchronized Skating World Championships in 2007. Jeri has experience in dance, barre method, kickboxing, spinning, and yoga, and is currently studying for her Health Fitness Specialist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. |

Mesha Terrell has been involved in the fitness industry since 1990. Her degree is in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University. Mesha is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine, (ACSM) as an Exercise Specialist. She has taught traditional group exercise classes such as step, slide, aqua, low and high impact aerobics. Mesha is a certified Zumba® Basic, Zumbatomic®, Aqua Zumba® and Zumba Gold® instructor and started teaching for Rec&Ed in 2011. Currently, she works for Botsford Center for Health Improvement as an Exercise Specialist. |

Tonji Zimmerman has been "hooping" since 2008 and started teaching it in 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. Tonji is a Hoopnotica certified instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is currently working as a Technical Consultant for Equella Pearson and teaching Hoop Fitness for Rec&Ed. |
